Ann Fujii Lindwall is a Seattle native, growing up on Mercer Island, the University of Washington, and most importantly, in Seattle's International District, which she calls her "second home." She has been involved in community volunteer work since 1980 or so, starting with the Asian Family Affair, the International Examiner, the Japanese American Citizens League and of course, WAPIFASA. She has a wonderful family that includes her father, Frank, sister, Sue, and niece, Michiko. Ann loves sports, especially the Mariners, the Sonics and the Storm. Her favorite thing to do is camping with her husband, Alan and chocolate lab, Jasper.
LEILANI BALAIS

Assistant Director, Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, Seattle University
Leilani has been with Seattle University's Office of Multicultural Student Affairs since Fall 2001. Prior to higher education, Leilani has worked and volunteered for a number of nonprofit organizations such as the YMCA, AmeriCorps and Rainier Scholars promoting youth leadership, education and diversity. She has been a member of the WAPIFASA Board of Directors since Fall 2003. During her free time she enjoys the company of friends, eating out and catching up on the latest movies.
STEVE NAMKUNG, MBA
King County
Steve is a project/program manager for King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks. He recently completed his MBA at the University of Washington. Previous to his graduate work, he was a principal and business manager of several private schools. He started his career as an educator. He has served on a number of nonprofit boards. Along with occasional business consulting, he likes to play golf, spend time with his family, and take road trips.
